Up Country walks for Hikers

Up country walks in Sri Lanka are exhilarating and extremely interesting. A cooler climate and clean air puts bounce in your step, panoramas are impressive and the population is different. Tamil speaking estate workers, attracted from poor areas of South India from the mid -nineteenth century have introduced their culture to Sri Lanka, and over time it has become an integral part of the island's history and traditions.
